FAQ
How Accurate is your SERP Tracking?
Unlike competitors who provide one-time snapshot scans, our system performs multiple scans per day and provides average ranking data. This ensures you're not misled by temporary fluctuations in the dynamic Google rankings environment.
We collect results using real ISP-assigned IP addresses (real homeowner connections, the ones real shoppers use), not datacenter server IPs. This matters because Google can show different Shopping results by location and device. Residential IPs help ensure the SERP we track closely matches what real customers see in each location and on each device. While residential IPs cost 19x more than datacenter IPs, we use them exclusively because accurate data is worth the investment.
How often do you scan Google Shopping results?
You choose what to track: your keywords, exact locations, device types, and scan frequency. Set scans anywhere from every 10 minutes to hourly. We then calculate daily average positions for each keyword × location × device combination, so you get reliable trends—not misleading single snapshots.
Do you track Google Shopping Ads at the whole-country level?
No—tracking is location-specific. You choose the keywords, precise locations, device types, and scan frequency. Each keyword × location × device combination is tracked separately, and we calculate daily average positions for each combination to reflect real performance by market.
Your company-level stats—such as market share, average ranking, and pricing averages—are calculated from all search terms currently tracked in your project. At any time, you can filter the dashboard to a single search term (or any subset) to analyze performance in more detail.
How does SERP tracking differ from Google Ads reporting?
Google Ads shows you what happens after someone clicks your ad. SERP tracking shows you what happens before the click—your visibility, position, and competitive landscape in search results. This reveals why customers do or don't click your ads in the first place.
